Samsung has recently announced its upcoming Unpacked event for August 7th at 4 PM ET at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY. In this event, the company is going to announce the Galaxy Note 10, which is the latest product in its line of super-sized stylus-equipped smartphones.

The invite doesn’t show much but a picture of a single camera lens and an S Pen. If you look closely, the items together form an exclamation mark. Rumour has it that a fresh design for the Note 10 is going to feature a single front-facing camera embedded in the display. This is similar to the Galaxy S10 released earlier this year. In Note 10 the camera will be put the dead center on the screen.

There are also rumors about the 3.5mm headphone jack. According to reports, Samsung cloud is axing the audio port on the Note 10. Another report stated that Samsung will release two sizes of Note 10 this year as they did last year for Galaxy S series of phones. The sizes are going to 6.75 inches and 6.28 inch. It is also expected that the company is going to provide a 5G variant of both smartphones. This means there are going to be four different Galaxy Note 10 models.

The main question regarding the August 7th event is not whether Note 10 will show up but whether Samsung will give any information on its long-missing products, the Galaxy Fold. About Galaxy Fold, Samsung co-CEO DJ Koh said that it was:

“pushed to market before it was ready.”

Other than that there is also the missing Galaxy home speaker, which was announced alongside the Galaxy Note 9 during last summer. However, it has still not been launched. Also, there is no news available for these products. The company has missed many of its products. We need to see whether the company is going to give information on these missing products or not.

As of now, we don’t know what surprise Samsung has in store. All we can do is wait for the event eagerly.
